Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Slide, the omnichannel automation platform operated by Synquic. By accessing or using Slide, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise accessing Slide, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • If acting on behalf of an organization, you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
  • You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Slide is a cloud-based enterprise automation platform that provides:

  • Instagram Business automation (DMs, comments, story interactions) via Meta's official API
  • WhatsApp Business messaging and chatbot flows via the WhatsApp Business API
  • Visual sales pipeline management (Kanban, lead scoring, follow-up automation)
  • Cross-platform funnel builder for multi-channel customer journeys
  • Team and organization management with role-based access control

Synquic reserves the right to modify, add, or remove features from the platform at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Account Registration

Access to Slide requires sign-in via Google or Microsoft OAuth through Firebase Authentication. By signing in:

  • You grant Synquic permission to create and maintain an account associated with your identity provider credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must not share your access credentials or allow unauthorized users to access the platform.
  • You must notify us immediately at security@synquic.com if you suspect unauthorized account access.
  • You must keep your account information accurate and up to date.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Slide only for lawful purposes. The following uses are strictly prohibited:

  • Sending unsolicited bulk messages (spam) via Instagram or WhatsApp
  • Automating actions that violate Meta Platform Policies or WhatsApp Business Policy
  • Harassment, threats, abuse, or targeting of individuals
  • Scraping or unauthorized collection of third-party data
  • Transmitting malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Impersonating other people, organizations, or brands
  • Using the platform for illegal activities under applicable law
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the platform source code
  • Circumventing rate limits, usage restrictions, or access controls
  • Using Slide to facilitate phishing, fraud, or deceptive practices
  • Transmitting content that infringes on intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
  • Violating any applicable anti-spam laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM Act, CASL, GDPR marketing provisions)

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice or refund.

5. Meta Platform Compliance

Slide accesses Instagram and WhatsApp functionality through Meta's official APIs. By using these features, you additionally agree to comply with:

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Instagram and WhatsApp automation through Slide complies with Meta's policies. Synquic is not liable for any suspension or restrictions applied to your Meta accounts due to policy violations on your part.

All WhatsApp message templates must receive Meta approval before use. Sending unapproved templates or using the API outside session windows is your responsibility to manage.

6. Organization and Team Accounts

Slide supports organization accounts with multiple team members under role-based access control.

  • The organization owner (administrator) is responsible for all actions taken by team members within their organization.
  • Organization admins must ensure that invited users accept these Terms before accessing the platform.
  • You may not grant access to third parties outside your organization without appropriate authorization.
  • Synquic may suspend an entire organization account if any member violates these Terms in a material way.

7. Intellectual Property

Synquic's IP: All software, design, code, branding, logos, and content comprising the Slide platform are owned by Synquic and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Your content: You retain all ownership of content you create, upload, or process through Slide (including message templates, flow configurations, and contact data). You grant Synquic a limited, non-exclusive licence to use this content solely to provide and operate the platform.

Feedback: If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about Slide, you grant Synquic an irrevocable, royalty-free right to use such feedback without obligation to you.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of Slide is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You represent and warrant that:

  • You have the lawful right to collect, process, and transmit any personal data you use within Slide.
  • You have obtained all necessary consents from individuals whose data you process through automation flows.
  • Your use of contact data complies with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, PDPA, etc.).

9. Service Availability and SLA

Synquic will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain platform availability. However:

  • We do not guarantee 100% uptime. Planned and unplanned maintenance may cause temporary unavailability.
  • We are not responsible for downtime caused by third-party services (Meta APIs, Firebase, infrastructure providers).
  • Enterprise SLA agreements with specific uptime guarantees may be arranged separately via a service contract.

10. Fees and Payment

Specific pricing, billing cycles, and subscription terms are governed by the commercial agreement between your organization and Synquic. General terms:

  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as agreed.
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in your commercial agreement.
  • Synquic may suspend access for non-payment after reasonable notice.
  • Taxes are the responsibility of the customer unless explicitly included in quoted fees.

11. Termination

By you: You may terminate your account at any time by contactinghello@slide.synquic.com. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid fees.

By Synquic: We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, if:

  • You materially breach these Terms
  • You violate Meta Platform Policies through the platform
  • We receive lawful requests to do so from authorities
  • Continuing to provide service would expose us to legal or regulatory risk

Upon termination, your right to access Slide ceases immediately. We will retain your data for up to 30 days for export purposes, after which it will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SLIDE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SYNQUIC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Synquic does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use Slide at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

  • SYNQUIC'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
  • SYNQUIC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of certain types of liability. In those jurisdictions, the limitations above apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Synquic and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of Slide; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including Meta Platform Policies; or (d) any content or data you transmit through the platform.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.

If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not available, through the courts of competent jurisdiction.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Synquic to the extent permitted by law.

16. Changes to Terms

Synquic may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • Notify active users via in-platform notification or email

Continued use of Slide after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the platform.
